Torbay is situated half way between Albany to the east and Denmark to the west. Torbay is a quiet haven of quiet family beaches and nearby is Torbay Head. Torbay Head is in the West Cape Howe National Park, and is the most southerly point of Western Australia.
Much of the West Cape Howe National Park, which is accessible only of foot or by 4WDS, however, native birds and animals are plentiful and in September - October, wildflowers are evident. Hang gliders and Para gliders soaring above the waves can be sighted at Shelley Beach.
