Nanga Bay Resort is part of an historic 500,000 acre former sheep station situated right on the ocean front in the World Heritage Shark Bay, edging the famous Shell Beach near Monkey Mia.
The station homestead building, built from shell blocks cut from a nearby quarry, is the hub of the outback stopover. Set in lush gardens are the saltwater swimming pool and spa.
The spa at Nanga is a true artesian spa, with the water coming from the bowels of the earth at some 40 degrees celsius. A soak in Nangas famous spa will surely be one of the highlights here.
Nanga hosts some good outback menus, roast lamb, camp oven or BBQ. In this part of Australias Coral Coast, a BBQ is usually a whole lamb on a spit.
Nanga Bay itself has kilometres of beautiful beaches to enjoy. Local waters provide excellent fishing, boating and swimming.
From the resort you can easily explore the wonders of the region, Monkey Mia is forty minutes drive, Shell Beach is only five minutes drive and so is Eagle Bluff and Little Lagoon for magnificent scenery.
