An oasis in the white sands, red earth and thick bush, Cape Leveque can be accessed by self-drive 4WD some four hours or by air. A large 4WD is strongly recommended when travelling this area; sandy sections and corrugations require great care. The roads may be closed during the wet season late Sept to late May.
