Day 1 Broome to Fitzroy Crossing

Enjoy a brief Broome tour before heading to Geikie Gorge at the junction of the Oscar and the Geikie Ranges for a picnic lunch.

Experience a memorable 2-hour Darngku Heritage Cruise hosted by local Bunuba Aboriginal guides who will immerse you in the Aboriginal culture; how to make fire, as well as stories carried from the Dreamtime.

Option One - Wander the gorge river bank or soak up the sun for an hour before joining the one hour National Park Ranger Cruise. During the cruise, marvel at the bird life and keep an eye out for crocodiles.

Head on a short drive to the Fitzroy River Lodge for your overnight stay and interact with your fellow travellers while enjoying a campfire barbeque dinner prepared by your driver/guide

Day 2 Fitzroy Crossing to Broome

After breakfast, join the Gibb River Road, once used as the main stock route for the region, arriving at the amazing 750 metre long flooded tube Tunnel Creek.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at Windjana Gorge, regarded as one of the classic features of world geology and a great freshwater crocodile spotting site before your journey back to Broome, via the historic town of Derby, home of Australias largest tides.

A quick stop at Kimberleys famous landmark, the Prison Boab Tree, once used to hold indigenous people. Explore the Myalls Bore, a 120 metre long trough built in the early 1900's used to water up to 500 head of cattle before arriving back into Broome.
