Day 2 Perth to the Pinnacles to Geraldton

Begin the journey north with a stop at Nambung National Park to see the spectacular Pinnacles. In this unique desert area, thousands of limestone pillars up to four metres tall create unique photo opportunities.

Day 3 Geraldton to Kalbarri National Park to Monkey Mia

Continue north for a visit to Hawks Head Lookout in Kalbarri National Park and enjoy amazing views of the Murchison River winding its way through the gorges.

Discover Hamelin Pool, home to the worlds oldest living organisms, Stromatalites. Travel to one of only two shell beaches in the world on the way to Monkey Mia.

Day 4 Monkey Mia to Carnarvon

Rise early for a chance to see the dolphins that swim up to Monkey Mia beach. These wild, but friendly mammals will often swim up to the shores to mingle with beach revelers.

Day 5 Carnarvon to Coral Bay to Exmouth

Travel to the idyllic beach town of Coral Bay for a sub-sea viewer boat cruise over Australias largest fringing coral reef, the Ningaloo Reef. Continue north to Exmouth on the boundary of Cape Range National Park.

Day 6 Exmouth to Tom Price

Journey to the spectacular Giralia Station, a quarter of a million hectare cattle property turned National Park. This area features amazing biodiversity, with some flora and fauna species unique to the station. Travel east to Tom Price in the Pilbara.

Day 7 Tom Price to Karijini National Park to Karratha

Discover Karijini National Park where the breathtaking gorges, waterfalls and many rock pools bring the Pilbara tropical desert to life.

Encounter the picturesque Hamersley Gorge, with its varied coloured rock formations, before heading west to the Millstream National Park oasis.

Day 8 Karratha to Port Hedland to Broome

Visit the major shipping outlet town of Port Hedland on the coast, fringing the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Continue the journey before arriving in Broome.

Day 9 Broome

Explore the tropical holiday destination of Broome at your leisure. Why not spend the day on beautiful Cable Beach, visit Chinatown or peruse the pearl merchants. You have the opportunity to join a beach camel ride at sunset.

Day 10 Broome to Derby to Fitzroy Crossing

Visit Derby, the first town to be settled in the Kimberley, and see the famous Boab Prison Tree which was once used as an overnight holding cell for criminals. Continue to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing.

Day 11 Fitzroy Crossing to Halls Creek

Enjoy a cruise through spectacular Geikie Gorge, a natural beauty with 30 metre high rock walls created by the Fitzroy River tunneling through the Napier Range. Keep your eyes open for crocodiles.

Day 12 Halls Creek to Kununurra

Visit the worlds largest diamond mine, the Lirrgarn Argyle Mine site. Take a tour of this massive 1600 metre long open pit and learn about the diamond mining process.

Day 13 Kununurra

Embark on a peaceful cruise along the birdlife-inhabited Ord River, starting in Kununurra and finishing in Lake Argyle.

Travel to Hidden Valley National Park to admire the stunning 300 million year old sandstone cliffs from Kellys Knob Lookout, then visit the 5 Rivers Lookout near Wyndham for breathtaking views of the Kimberley.

Day 14 El Questro

Continue towards the stunning El Questro Wilderness Park, made up of one million acres of diverse unspoilt land on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley.

Cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a 3km long fresh waterhole surrounded by towering rock escarpments. Keep an eye out for freshwater crocodiles.

Day 15 Kununurra to Katherine

Travelling through vast countryside and outback cattle stations, the isolation and sparseness of the land is both beautiful and amazing as you progress towards Katherine in the Northern Territory.
