Day 1 Perth

Embark on an orientation tour of Perth City where a drive to one of the most visited attractions, Kings Park, offers a spectacular view overlooking the Swan River and the Perth cityscape.

Day 2 Margaret River

Stop at the Forest Heritage Centre in Dwellingup to see some of the best local woodwork products before traveling through the popular holiday resort town of Busselton.

Journey through the Margaret River Caves to see the amazing natural wonder of Mammoth Cave and ancient animal fossils, then continue to Western Australias premier wine growing region, Margaret River.

Day 3 Margaret River

Take a scenic journey through the picturesque Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and see the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, before a trip to Palandri Winery for a wine tasting and delicious lunch amongst the beautiful vineyard setting.

  • With time to explore Margaret River after lunch, why not indulge your senses at the ever-popular Margaret River Chocolate Factory with their amazing range of delicious chocolates.

    Day 4 Margaret River to Albany

    Visit the enormous 61 metre tall Gloucester Tree and journey through the Valley of the Giants where you will have the opportunity to stroll through the canopy of gigantic tingle and karri trees on the Tree Top Walk.

    Continue on towards Albany and stop at Torndirrup National Park which is famous for the Natural Bridge – a massive rock bridge that hangs over torrid ocean waters below. Head to Whaleworld to learn about Albanys seafaring past.

    Day 5 Albany to Esperance

    Contemplate the past with a visit to the ANZAC Memorial and take in the panoramic views of the coast. It is a tribute to the first and second ANZAC convoys that left from Albany during World War One.

    Travel into the beautiful Stirling Ranges for a scenic stop at Bluff Knoll Lookout before pressing on towards Esperance with a visit to the famous Pink Lake – its unique colour can be attributed to the high concentrations of salt tolerant algae.

    Day 6 Esperance to Kalgoorlie

    Travel into picturesque Cape Le Grand National Park before heading north through Norseman towards the historic gold-mining town of Kalgoorlie.

    A stop at the Golden Superpit Lookout rewards onlookers with jaw-dropping views of Australias largest open-cut gold mine, before a tour through the town reveals the interesting history of the famous Exchange Hotel and infamous Hay Street.

    Day 7 Kalgoorlie

    Try gold-panning for a chance to score your own gold nugget, witness gold bullion being poured and tour the underground Mining Reserve.

    Learn about the historic Royal Flying Doctor Service and how it helps remote Australians in need of medical assistance, and later take some time at leisure to explore Kalgoorlie.

    Day 8 Kalgoorlie to Wave Rock to Fremantle

    Travel through the former ghost town of Coolgardie and witness the shanty homes where the town was once left deserted, before heading to unique Wave Rock, a three million year old granite structure resembling a giant wave.

    Push on towards Western Australias oldest inland town, York, which was settled in 1831 – only two years after the capital Perth. Later, head towards to the historic port town of Fremantle.

    Day 9 Fremantle to Perth

    Tour Fremantle at leisure, perhaps with a visit to the busy Markets and the vibrant Fishing Boat Harbour to try some amazing fish and chips.

    Join a tour to discover the heritage of Fremantle and learn about how this area is part of the Aboriginal Dreaming Trail. Later cruise along the Swan River and take in the sights of picturesque Perth city.

    Day 10 Perth to New Norcia to Kalbarri

    Begin the journey north with a stop at the unique settlement of New Norcia, which is home to an old Benedictine Monastery that still houses practicing monks today.

    Continue north and stop at a wildflower farm to view some unique flowers when in season, before arriving in magnificent Kalbarri to soak up the relaxed atmosphere of this coastal inlet town.

    Day 11 Kalbarri to Monkey Mia

    Venture into Kalbarri National Park where the vantage point of Hawks Head Lookout provides stunning views of the Murchison River winding its way through the spectacular gorges.

    Visit one of only two shell beaches in the world before walking to Red Bluff Lookout, providing uninterrupted views of the Western Australian coastline. Push on towards famous Monkey Mia.

    Day 12 Monkey Mia

    Rise early to have the best chance of seeing the dolphins swim up to the shore and experience a personal encounter with these friendly animals.

    Spend the rest of the day at leisure and explore beautiful Monkey Mia. Relax on the pristine beach or join a catamaran cruise to spot the dugongs, dolphins and other marine life surrounding this coastal town.

    Day 13 Monkey Mia to Geraldton

    Leave Monkey Mia travelling southwards and stop at Hamelin Pool to see the age-old rock-like marine structures called Stromatolites. This area is one of only three in the world where these unique organisms can be seen.

    Continue along the expansive North West Coastal Highway towards Geraldton, passing some small towns along the way.

    Day 14 Gerladton to the Pinnacles to Perth

    Travel into Nambung National Park for a stop at the unusual rock formations known as the Pinnacles. Walk through these spectacular calcified limestone objects for some unique photo opportunities.

    Head into Yanchep National Park for an educational cultural experience run by Aboriginal guides, before hearing the enchanting sounds of the traditional didjeridu wind instrument.
