Day 1 Arrive Broome

Arrive in Broome and be escorted to your hotel, the Mercure Inn Continental.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure. You can relax and rejuvenate at the hotel, get in a quick swim, or take in a few sights of the beautiful Broome town.

In the evening, unwind with a welcome drink and get to know your tour director.

Day 2 Broome 'Free Time'

Explore this tropical hideaway as you please, with a variety of fun activities to fill your day.

Cable Beach, one of the most stunning beaches in the world, is located directly opposite the hotel. Here you can take a sunset camel ride along the 22km of pristine white sand, with spectacular views of the turquoise blue Indian Ocean.

Stroll through Chinatown to purchase unique treasures and view some of the finest pearl showrooms. Take a scenic flight over the Buccaneer Archipelago, or ride the hovercraft to experience the beauty of Roebuck Bay (own expense).

Treat yourself to some delicious barramundi fish for dinner to finish off a wonderful day (own expense).

Day 3 Broome to Karratha

Skirt the edge of the Great Sandy Desert to Port Headland, a major shipping outlet for the mineral rich Pilbara region.

  • Journey through the breath-taking scenery of the Pilbara. Have your camera out to take photos of the rich red and golden colours of the countryside.
  • Arrive at Karratha, headquarters of the North West Shelf Project, and spend the night at the All Seasons Karratha hotel.

    Day 4 Karratha to Tom Price

    Travel east through the oasis that is the Millstream National Park, an area of tropical palm-fringed freshwater springs.

    See Hamersley Gorge as you trek into Karijini National Park, the second largest national park in WA. Keep on the lookout for red kangaroos, rock wallabies, and the unique termite mounds.

    Explore spectacular gorges, waterfalls and rock pools, which provide a contrast to the red Pilbara landscape.

  • Continue on to mining town Tom Price, on the edge of the Hamersley Range.

    Day 5 Tom Price to Exmouth

    Explore Giralia Station, an area of outstanding biodiversity with its many different species of flora and fauna, some of which are unique to the station.

    Journey on to Exmouth, situated on the boundary of Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Marine Park.

    Relax at the Potshot Hotel Resort, a premier accommodation spot in Exmouth with 3 beautifully landscaped swimming pools.

    Day 6 Exmouth to Carnarvon

    Experience the serene and beautiful atmosphere of Coral Bay, a quaint seaside town.

    Journey on the sub-sea viewer over the Ningaloo Reef, Western Australias largest coral reef.

    Observe the abundance of marine life that inhibits these tropical waters. Marvel at the underwater world of coral gardens and vividly-coloured fish.

    Arrive at Carnarvon, a large coastal town at the mouth of the Gascoyne River.

    Day 7 Carnarvon to Monkey Mia

    Travel to the Monkey Mia Reserve, nestled against the pristine waters of the Shark Bay Marine Park, where the world famous bottlenose dolphins come into shore.

    These wild dolphins swim right into the shallows, providing a unique opportunity for humans to mingle with them, a truly unforgettable experience. (Note: As dolphins are wild their appearance cannot be guaranteed.)

    Spend the night in the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort.

    Day 8 Monkey Mia to Geraldton

    In the morning visit Hamelin Pool to see a colony of ancient Stromatolites, the worlds oldest display of living fossils.

    Visit Shell Beach, which consists of millions of shells up to 10 metres deep.

    Explore the Kalbarri National Park, visiting Hawks Head Lookout for marvelous birds eye views of the Murchison River Gorge.

    Enjoy an orientation tour of Geraldton, located on the Batavia Coast, renowned for its many shipwrecks.

    Day 9 Garaldton to Perth

    In Nambung National Park view the spectacular and mystical Pinnacles. Made from limestone these pillars provide an almost eerie landscape. Be amazed at the sight of these eroded remnants.

    Enter the friendly and beautiful city of Perth. Have your camera ready for some spectacular shots of the city, Swan River and the futuristic looking Swan Bell Tower.

    Trek up to Kings Park, a natural bush land covering over 400 hectares with sweeping views of the city.

    Leisurely stroll through the landscaped gardens, walkways and lakes. Visit the State War Memorial and DNA Tower.

    Your tour concludes after breakfast. You will be transferred to the Perth Airport to connect with your onward flight.
