Day 1 Perth - Kalbarri

Head north hugging the Indian Ocean coast line visit Yanchep National Park, experience the mystique of the Pinnacles Desert & Nambung National Park, visit Waddi Emu and Wildflower Farm.

The awesome Australian beauty of the Kalbarri National Park and its gorges are waiting to be explored.

Day 2 Kalbarri - Shark Bay / Monkey Mia

Explore Kalbarri's coastal cliffs and the Murchison River’s red gorges, perhaps visit the tropical and exotic parrot habitat, look around the town.

Arrive at Shark Bay with time to see the unique Shell Beach and Stromatolites.

Overnight: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, Garden Villa

Day 3 Meet the Dolphins

Spend the morning greeting the families of wild, but friendly, bottle nose dolphins at Monkey Mia.

The Shark Bay World Heritage area is yours to discover today with the rich abundance of unique sea life and land forms.

The 4WD into Francois Peron National Park is a well rewarded adventure.

Visit a Pearl Farm or take a sunset cruise.

Day 4 Shark Bay - Ningaloo Reef

Last goodbye to the dolphins before heading towards Carnarvon and then on to the North West Cape and the brilliant Ningaloo Reef.

Day 5 Ningaloo Reef & Cape Range

Paddle at the edge of the water and let the fish swim around your legs. Step off the beach onto the enormous coral reef.

Spend the day snorkelling amongst some of the 460 species of fish.

Swim with Whale Sharks or interact with other wildlife. Enjoy a cruise on a glass bottom boat.

The rugged Cape Range National Park is a scenic 4WD adventure playground.

Day 6 Exmouth - Tom Price

Into the red heart of the Australian outback - the Pilbara.

Time again to engage 4WD, past Giralia Station, continue overland past Mt Stuart and Mt Edith - red dust ablaze on to the modern mining town of Tom Price.

Overnight: Karijni Eco Retreat

Day 7 Explore the Pilbara

Today one of the oldest landscapes on earth is yours to discover.

The enormous Hamersley Ranges include the Karijini National Park - renowned for its spectacular mountains, colourful gorges of dramatic folded ribbons of rock, watercourses and plateaux.

At Oxers Lookout - stand at the junction of four great gorges. Plenty of opportunity to swim in great gorges.

The perfect location to fully test your vehicles' 4WD capabilities.

Overnight: Karijni Eco Retreat (requires a 4WD to access. Tom Price Hotel will be used for smaller vehicles).

Day 8 Tom Price - Newman

Perhaps experience a tour of the massive mining facility in Tom Price this morning.

Travel through the Karijini gorge country and see some significant aboriginal sites on route to Newman. Well worth a visit.

Overnight: Seasons Hotel Newman, Deluxe Room

Day 9 Newman - Cue

Head south on the inland route.

See historic gold mining locations and ghost towns.

Overnight: Nallan Station

Day 10 Cue - Perth

Stop off at historic New Norcia, as you travel south back to Perth.
