Day 1 Perth

Embark on an orientation tour of the city and visit one of Perths premier attractions, Kings Park. Set on 400 hectares of bushland atop Mount Eliza, this massive expanse of land offers spectacular views of the Swan River.

Day 2 Perth to the Pinnacles to Geraldton

Head into Yanchep National Park for an educational cultural experience run by Aboriginal guides, before travelling to the Pinnacles. Walk amongst these large limestone rocks for some unique photo opportunities.

Day 3 & 4 Geraldton to Monkey Mia

A stop at Hawks Head Lookout provides stunning views of the Murchison River winding it way through Kalbarri National Park.

  • Visit Hamelin Pool to see Stromatolites, the oldest living organisms on the planet, before exploring one of only two shell beaches in the world on the way to Monkey Mia.
  • Rise early to have the best chance of seeing the dolphins swim up to the shore and experience a personal encounter with these friendly animals.

    The rest of the day is for you to spend at your own leisure. Relax on the beach or indulge in some delicious local seafood for lunch.

    Day 5 Monkey Mia to Coral Bay to Exmouth

    Travel north to one of the most picturesque and laid-back coastal towns on the north west coast, Coral Bay. Board a sub-sea viewer boat and take a look at the colourful Ningaloo Coral Reef beneath you.

    Day 6 Exmouth to Tom Price

    Heading inland, visit the massive Giralia Station, a sheep station turned national park due to its outstanding biodiversity, prolific birdlife and unique fossil discoveries. Continue east towards Tom Price in the Pilbara region.

    Day 7 Tom Price to Karijini National Park

    Join an exciting tour of the Pilbara Open Cut Iron Ore Mine, where you will get to see huge machinery excavating one of the largest mines in the Pilbara.

    The journey into Karijini National Park unveils the stunning contrast of the gorges, waterfalls and rock pools against the dry red earth that surrounds them.

    Day 8 Karijini National Park to Karratha

    Leaving Karijini National Park, head north to the coastal hub of Karratha, home to the impressive North West Shelf Project responsible for 65% of Western Australias gas production.

    Day 9 & 10 Karratha to Port Headland to Broome

    Continue up the coast through Port Headland, fringing the edge of the Great Sandy Desert, before arriving in the premier beach holiday destination of Broome.

    Witness historic Chinatown on a lazy afternoon and see where the pearl luggers haul their days catch onto Streeters Jetty.

    Explore this beautiful and iconic beachside town with free time to stroll the pristine Cable Beach, enjoy a cocktail at popular Matsos Brewery, scour the pearl merchants or join a beach camel ride at sunset.

    Day 11 Broome to Derby to Fitzroy Crossing

    Visit Derby, the first town to be settled in the Kimberley, and see the famous Boab Prison Tree which was used as an overnight holding cell for criminals. Continue to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing.

    Day 12 Fitzroy Crossing to Halls Creek

    Cruise through stunning Geikie Gorge, a natural beauty with 30 metre high rock walls created by the Fitzroy River water tunneling through the Napier Range. It is not rare to spot the odd crocodile here too.

    Day 13 & 14 Halls Creek to El Questro

    Join a tour through the worlds largest diamond mine at the Lirrgarn-Argyle site, which produces one quarter of the worlds diamonds annually.

    Continue towards the stunning El Questro Wilderness Park, made up of one million acres of diverse unspoilt land on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley.

    Cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a 3km long fresh waterhole surrounded by towering rock escarpments. Keep an eye out for freshwater crocodiles.

    You have the opportunity to join a hike into spectacular Emma Gorge where the beautiful waterfall over tranquil water makes this an inviting spot for a swim.

    Day 15 & 16 El Questro to Wyndham to Kununurra

    Travel via the Gibb River Road to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve before continuing to Wyndham for spectacular views of the Kimberley from the 5 Rivers Lookout.

    Embark on a peaceful cruise along the Ord River starting in Lake Argyle and finishing in Kununurra.

    See the Ord River Irrigation Scheme responsible for creating Lake Argyle and travel to Hidden Valley National Park to admire the stunning 300 million year old sandstone cliffs from Kellys Knob Lookout.

    Travelling through vast countryside and outback cattle stations, the isolation and sparseness of the land is both beautiful and amazing as you progress towards Katherine in the Northern Territory.

    Join a boat cruise on the picturesque Katherine River as it meanders through the massive gorges dominating Nitmiluk National Park.

    Stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, dedicated to recognize the sacrifices made by the people of the Top End defending Australia during World War II. Join an orientation tour of Darwin.
