Day 1 Perth to Esperance

Travel through the scenic Darling Ranges to the historic town of York - the first township founded in the Avon Valley. Admire the wonderfully preserved Victorian buildings and gain an insight into grand old pioneer days.

Continue through the sweeping wheat belt plains, and stop en route at the famous Dog Cemetery, a tribute to Australian working sheep dogs.

Marvel at the amazing Wave Rock, one of Australias most famous icons. The rock was formed 27,000 million years ago – before dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Day 2 Esperance

Relax and enjoy a morning cruise of the stunning Bay of Isles. Look out for dolphins, sea lions, sea birds, and in season, whales.

Discover the beautiful Cape Le Grand National Park, with its magnificent beaches, rugged granite outcrops and spectacular coastline.

Day 3 Esperance to Kalgoorlie

Travel through the old gold mining towns of Norseman, Widgiemooltha, Kambalda and then to the most famous of them all, Kalgoorlie.

  • Uncover a wealth of treasure in Australias largest Outback town: visit the Miners Hall of Fame, the North Kalgoorlie Tourist Mine, and the impressive Super Pit.
    • Experience a night tour of the town, and hear the fascinating gold-rush stories of yesteryear.
