Continue to Coolgardie and learn about Ernest Giles, documented as Western Australias last explorer and tour Warren Finnertys home, the man responsible for the signing of the Patrick Hannan claim in 1893.
At the Goldfields Exhibition in the Coolgardie Museum, hear of a miner trapped underground for 9 days. Enjoy a historical tour of the town, before visiting the ghost town of Kunanalling.
Discover the chequered history of Ora Banda, including the bombing of the hotel and the murder of its owner. Hear the history of the State Battery and drive through Grants Patch on the way to the Broad Arrow Hotel – where The Nickel Queen was filmed.
