Day 2 Broome
Acquaint yourself with beautiful and iconic Broome with free time to stroll the 22 kilometres of white sands and turquoise water at Cable Beach, enjoy a beer at popular Matsos Brewery, scour the pearl merchants or join a beach camel ride at sunset.

Day 3 Broome to Fitzroy Crossing
Discover the port of Derby, situated on the edge of King Sound. Visit the famous Boab Prison Tree, used by the first police as an overnight holding cell.

Day 4 Fitzroy Crossing to Halls Creek
This morning cruise through Geikie Gorge, formed by the waters of the Fitzroy River tunnelling through the Napier Range. Watch for wildlife as the 30 metre high walls of the gorge tower above you.
Be sure to look out for crocodiles and sawfish, fruit bats and wallabies.
Journey to Halls Creek, situated on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. This afternoon you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with some local indigenous artists.

Day 5 Halls Creek to Bungle Bungles
Turn off the highway and transfer to your locally based 4WD vehicles for the trip into Purnululu National Park, home to some of Australia's most unique vegetation and geology.
This afternoon, tour into the southern side of the National Park and visit beautiful Cathedral Gorge, set as a natural amphitheatre offering amazing acoustics. We will also view the Beehives which are synonymous with the Bungle Bungle.
The constant erosion and river movements have formed the huge black and orange striped domes over the last 20 million years.
Although used extensively by the Aboriginal people during the wet season, when plant and animal life was abundant, few Europeans knew of their existence until the mid-1980's.

Day 6 Bungle Bungles to El Questro
Take an easy paced walk into the stunning Echidna Chasm, a truly beautiful destination surrounded by towering Livistona Palms. Travel back to the main highway and rejoin your coach for the journey to El Questro Wilderness Park.
A million acres in size, El Questro is located on the eastern perimeter of the Kimberley and extends for approximately 80 kilometres into the heart of the region.
Brimming with natural wonders including magnificent mountain ranges, rivers, gorges, thermal springs and vast stretches of spinifex plain, it is truly one of the world's few remaining wild frontiers.

Day 7 El Questro
Cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a 3km long fresh waterhole with diverse tropical flora and fauna and 60 metre tall escarpments.
You have the opportunity to join a hike into spectacular Emma Gorge where the contrast of a tranquil waterfall against the fiery red terrain will leave you inspired.

Day 8 El Questro to Kununurra
After rejoining the Gibb River Road, travel to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve to see some unique birdlife before continuing to Wyndham for spectacular views of the Kimberley from the 5 Rivers Lookout.
Visit Warriu Park to see the Dreamtime Statues and rock art mural.
This afternoon visit the historic Durack Homestead which was faithfully reconstructed to become a pioneer museum. Then cruise along the Ord River from Lake Argyle to Kununurra.
Learn all about the unique sandalwood industry from soil to oil when we visit the Sandalwood Factory at Mount Romance. Tonight You are invited by the Dessert family to dinner at the Hoochery Rum Distillery.

Day 9 Kununurra to Katherine
Travelling through vast countryside and outback cattle stations, the isolation and sparseness of the land is both beautiful and amazing as you journey towards Katherine in the Northern Territory.

Day 10 Katherine to Darwin
Join your local guide on an early morning cruise through Katherine Gorge. You have the opportunity to see wildlife and prolific birdlife.
Your cruise through the gorge takes you past sheer sandstone walls and all manner of flora and fauna. Make a short stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, a site dedicated to those killed in the air-raids in Darwin in the 1940's.
On arrival in Darwin, you will enjoy an orientation tour of this tropical city, including Parliament House and the Botanic Gardens.

After a leisurely breakfast, your tour concludes. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight.
