Day 1 Perth, Kalbarri

Head to the Nambung National Park; explore the renowned Pinnacles Desert before enjoying a swim in the Indian Ocean at Hangover Bay.

Encounter the coastal gorges of the Batavia Coast and learn about the coasts many shipwrecks.

View Western Australias prolific wildflowers (in season) and experience the exhilaration of sandboarding on large natural dunes.

Relax and enjoy the sun set and perhaps spot some humpback whales frolicking in the ocean, before heading to Kalbarri to enjoy a traditional Aussie Barbie.

Day 2 Kalbarri, Denham, Shark Bay

Bushwalk through the Kalbarri National Park and discover the stunning views from the Murchison River Z-bends and the famous Natures Window.

Experience Australian station country heading north towards Shark Bay, crossing the Meadow and the Nerren Nerren sheep stations.

Encounter the Stromatolites, the oldest living organisms on the planet and explore Shell beach, one of the longest shell beaches in the world.

Visit Denham, the most westerly town in Australia before arriving in Shark Bay.

Day 3 Shark Bay, Monkey Mia, Carnarvon, Coral Bay

Spend the morning exploring Monkey Mia and perhaps see the wild dolphins come to shore, a truly unforgettable experience.

  • Go sailing, fishing or kayaking if you choose, before visiting a coastal gorge and heading north.
  • Experience Western Australias Big Sky Country where 360-degree views of land, sea and sky will give you a true sense of the isolation and vastness of the Australian outback.

    Explore the tropical town of Carnarvon before heading to Coral Bay for the night.

    Day 4 Coral Bay, Exmouth

    Enjoy the idyllic location of Coral bay with the chance to explore the Ningaloo Reef, the largest fringing coral reef in the world.

    Marvel at the underwater world of multi-coloured fish and coral just metres from the sandy shores of the Indian Ocean.

    Enjoy swimming, sunbaking or snorkelling or take part in optional activities including a glass bottom boat cruise or quadbike riding before crossing the grasslands to Exmouth.

    Day 5 Explore Exmouth

    Todays itinerary includes 2 options:

    1) Encounter the magnificent Cape Range National Park; enjoy the secluded beaches of the Ningaloo Reef where you can snorkel and explore the huge variety of marine life.

    Explore the Yardie Creek Gorge, keeping an eye out for rock wallabies and enjoy a swim or snorkel at Turquoise Bay.

    2) Choose one of many dive packages (own expense) and go diving on the spectacular Ningaloo Reef. From April to June you may also swim with the whale sharks.

    Day 6 Exmouth, Karijini

    Head inland towards the Hammersley Ranges keeping an eye out for kangaroos and lizards.

    Explore the Karijini National Park; discover the unique scenery contrasting red rocks, green trees and blue skies.

    Overnight: Karijini accommodation, bushcamp

    Day 7 & 8 Explore Karijini

    Spend some time discovering the magnificent ancient gorges in Karijini National Park and take a dip in the parks waterfalls and pools.

    Bushwalk from Dales Gorge to Circular Pool; see the Fortesque Fall and the beautiful fern pool.

    Visit the Karijini visitor centre and learn the history of the region; explore the various gorges, pools and lookout points of the stunning Karijini National park.

    Overnight: Karijini accommodation, bushcamp

    Day 9 Karijini, Port Headland, Pardoo

    Discover the port town of Port Headland, a town that export over 50 million tones of iron ore annually; perhaps view the 2.5 kilometre long trains used to transport the ore.

    Visit the beautiful De Grey river en route to Pardoo.

    Overnight: Pardoo Roadhouse, camping

    Day 10 Pardoo, Broome

    Arrive at Broome via the 80 Mile Beach and explore the renowned town.

    Visit major highlights including the Japanese Cemetery, Gantheaume Point and Anastasias pool.

    Watch the sun slip into the ocean on the beautiful Cable Beach.

    Overnight: Broom accommodation, hostel

    Day 11 Explore Broome

    Enjoy a free day in which you can explore Broome and choose what you want to see and do.

    Sunbake by the pool, go shopping, check out the markets, explore china town, visit the Broome Bird Observatory or go on a camel safari.

    Days 12, 13&14 Broome, Perth

    Take in the stunning Australian scenery travelling south towards Perth.

    Pass through iron ore and gold mining country, cattle stations and Western Australias wheat belt.

    View Aboriginal rock carvings and rock art before arriving back in Perth.
