DAY 1 Perth to Northhampton
Depart Perth and travel north to Western Australias distinctive Pinnacle Desert.
Witness the thousands of fascinating limestone spiers that rise out of the desolate yellow landscape in the middle of Nambung National Park.
Travel north to the historic town of Northampton, formerly a lead mining centre which now focuses on sheep and wheat farming for its prosperity.

DAY 2 Northhampton to Monkey Mia
Leave Northampton and travel to Kalbarri National Park where you will embark on an exploration of the spectacular coastal and inland scenery. Encounter Natures Window at the Loop and look out over Murchison Gorge.
Learn about the interesting living marine fossils called Stromatolites when you travel to Shark Bay. Be informed about how these fossils have helped scientists unravel the history of life in the world.
Enjoy an overnight stay at Monkey Mia.

DAY 3 Monkey Mia - Coral Bay
Rise early in the morning for the opportunity to encounter the dolphins of Monkey Mia. Delight in interacting with these intelligent animals and feel privileged to be in one of the few places in the world where wild dolphins greet people.
Take advantage of the opportunity to go sailing in Shark Bay where you may have the chance to see marine life including dugongs and marine turtles in the transparent water. Farewell the dolphins and journey to Shell Beach where you can discover the billions of tiny coquina bivalve shells that line the shore.
Continue north via Carnarvon to Warroora Station sheep station which is situated on an impressive 50 kilometre secluded stretch of the Ningaloo Reef. Relish in eating camp oven cooked food including damper by the campfire.

DAY 4 Coral Bay to Exmouth
Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of kangaroos, emus and other wildlife as you make your way between Carnarvon and Coral Bay in the morning.
Experience the point where the stunning Ningaloo Reef is closest to the shore once you arrive in Coral Bay.
Participate in an optional glass bottom boat tour of the bay where you may have the chance to encounter some of the 450 species of fish that the reef contains. Alternatively, try spotting some dugongs by snorkelling in the sheltered waters.
Spend the mid afternoon travelling north past Cape Range National Park and the northern end of Ningaloo Reef to the town of Exmouth where you will stay overnight. Overnight: Overnight Exmouth

DAY 5 Exmouth
Explore Exmouth, Cape Range National Park and the Ningaloo Reef in the morning.
Revel in an optional cruise in Cape Range National Park, at your own expense. View the extensive range of wildlife that the area has to offer and perhaps even spot the rare black footed Rock Wallaby.
People wanting to get closer to the clear waters of Ningaloo Reef can choose to go snorkelling instead or just relax by drifting aimlessly over the coral of Turquoise Bay.
An optional diving tour is available, at your own expense, which allows you to spend the day searching the magnificent Ningaloo Reef or chasing the elusive whale shark before returning to Exmouth for an overnight sleep.

DAY 6 Exmouth to Karijini
Depart Exmouth and feel the vast remoteness of the Pilbara as you travel through large areas of outback sheep and cattle stations to the Ashburton and Beazley Rivers.
Witness the ancient mountains of the Hamersley Ranges after lunch. Examine the spectacular gorges that have been carved by the waters of the Fortescue and other rivers.
Enjoy camping overnight in Karijini National Park and experience sleeping underneath the stars in one of Western Australias largest National Parks.

DAY 7 Karijini
Embark on an adventurous day of hiking gorges in the amazing Karijini National Park. Observe the precipitous cliffs of the Weano and Hancock gorges and watch the impressive waterfalls of Joffre Gorge.
Continue to Dales Gorge after lunch and experience a remarkable trek through the bottom of the gorge to Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool. Encounter the iron red walls of the gorge that change from a deep red to purple in colour as you descend.
Return to the camping site at Karijini National Park for another night.

DAY 8 Karijini to Eighty Mile Beach
Experience the mining hub of Western Australia at Port Hedland today as you arrive at the town via the Hamersley Ranges.
View the massive Iron Ore Port that the Port Hedland landscape is dominated by and observe the mile long trains that transport the ore.
Travel north from Port Hedland and stop for a break in Pardoo, a working station that lies between the highway and the beach.
Set up camp at Eighty Mile Beach and perhaps arrive in time to witness a magnificent sunset over the Indian Ocean.

DAY 9 80 Mile Beach to Broome
Delight in a morning swim at Eighty Mile Beach and view the seashells that the beach is renowned for.
Head north to Broome travelling along the Great Northern Highway and be engrossed by the vastness of the Pilbara scenery.
Arrive in Broome and experience a town tour where you may have the opportunity to view the unique Broome style architecture of the corrugated iron buildings on Hamersley Street or see pearl displays at the Historical Museum.
Stroll along the immaculate white sands of Cable Beach and watch the sunset over the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Say goodbye to your fellow travellers as your tour comes to a close.
