DAY 1 Kununurra - Mitchell Plateau

Travel by light aircraft to the Mitchell Plateau. Enjoy breakfast, before a short journey by 4WD starts the full days adventure exploring the Mitchell Falls magnificent waterfall system and its associated Aboriginal art.

Be rewarded with impressive Aboriginal art at Little Merton’s Falls and admire Big Merton Falls before arriving at renowned Mitchell Falls.

Not only is this region scenically superb and culturally rich it is also a refuge for many endangered species. An optional helicopter flight is available so you can truly experience the vast and remote areas.
