Day 1 Perth to Margaret River

Admire the changing scenery as you travel south towards the famous wine-producing region of Margaret River. Visit photogenic Busselton jetty - at 2km, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere.

Continue to Mammoth Cave for a guided tour of this impressive limestone cavern, which boasts ancient fossils of the extinct Tasmanian Tiger.

Pass the Boranup Forest, and marvel at the gigantic Karri trees, which can reach heights of up to 60m. Traverse the divide between the Southern and Pacific Oceans at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, before arriving in Margaret River.

Day 2 Margaret River to Perth

Explore Margaret River at your leisure. Once a sleepy town known only to surfers and farmers, Margaret River is now a popular holiday destination with gourmet dining, boutique shopping and world-class wineries, but which still retains its laid-back charm.

The Margaret River region produces only 2% of Australias wine, but 25% of its premium wine, and you will enjoy some of its bounty on a tour of the region, which begins with an Aussie-style BBQ and includes an informative talk by a local guide.

See inside the barrel room of one of the many wineries, and sample the delights of two of Margaret Rivers most beloved institutions- The Margaret River Chocolate Factory and the Margaret River Cheese Company.
