Day 1 Perth to Margaret River
Journey down south the Margaret River region. Continue to the township to enjoy free time, visit a local winery and stop for lunch. See the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere.
Then its on to Mammoth Cave, for a guided tour of this amazing subterranean formation. The cave is home to the remains of extinct creatures including that of a Tasmanian Tiger and a Zygomaturas - a huge wombat-like animal.
Further south, youll pass the towering karri trees of Boranup Forest, and see the striking Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse – perched at the most southwesterly tip of Australia, at the point where the mighty Southern and Indian Oceans converge.
