Day 1 Arrive Kununurra

Embark on a coach transfer from the Kununurra Airport to your hotel; coaches meet most flights (airfares not included).

Be spoilt with having the entire afternoon to yourself; enjoy exploring this amazing town, which has become famous recently after having segments of the hit movie Australia filmed around the area.

Visit the amazing Kellys Knob Lookout where you will be able to witness an unforgettable East Kimberly sunset, or visit the amazing Celebrity Tree Park where celebrities over the years have planted a range of different species of trees.

Kununurra is the hub for the Ord River Scheme and is a perfect base for exploring the amazing East Kimberly area.

Day 2 Lake Argyle

Depart on an exhilarating cruise to explore the rugged beauty of the northern end of Lake Argyle and learn about the history and development of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme.

Be given the opportunity to see rock wallabies and a spectacular fish feeding frenzy.

Visit the historic Durack Homestead built in 1895 using stones and crushed termite mounds for mortar. The Homestead was dismantled by hand and re built in the 1970s due to becoming submerge by Lake Argyle, it now stands as a museum.

Cruise along the Ord River and through magnificent Carlton Gorge home to lurking crocodiles, flying foxes and prolific bird life.

Day 3 El Questro Wilderness Park

Venture west along the rugged red earth of the Gibb River Road to experience a remote wilderness outback property, spanning over one million acres.

Nestled within the Cockburn Range and on the eastern border of the Kimberley, El Questro is a working cattle station that offers a rare holiday experience.

Choose to either take a scenic flight to experience the beauty of the Kimberley, cruise on Chamberlain Gorge to see ancient Windjana rock art (all at own expense) or just relax by the pool.

Day 4 El Questro Wilderness Park

Treat yourself to an entire day to explore the amazing El Questro Wilderness Park, at the end of the day you will realise why a whole day still is not long enough to explore the entire park.

You may wish to start the day with a walk to the tranquil Emma Gorge or opt for an optional tour to Zebedee Springs (own expense).

If you wish to experience the wildlife in the area, join a ranger for a guided bird watching walk or take a fishing trip.

Day 5 Depart Kununurra

Embark on a return coach transfer back to Kununurra Airport; the coach will meet most flights (airfare not included).
