Day 2 Broome
Explore Broome at your leisure, relaxing on the beach, investigating fossilised dinosaur footprints at Gantheume Point, wandering through bustling Chinatown, or experiencing a sunset camel ride along Cable Beach.

Day 3 Broome to Gibb River Road
Travel north to Derby, situated on the edge of King Sound and visit the Circular Wharf. Stop to see the Boab Prison Tree, used by the first police as an overnight holding cell and Myall Bore.
Embark upon the famous Gibb River Road, driving to spectacular Windjana Gorge. Continue to the unique Tunnel Creek- a naturally formed underground water passage that flows through the limestone of Napier Range.Overnight: Camping: Windjana Gorge

Day 4 Windjana Gorge to Kimberley Gorges
Explore Windjana Gorge, and have the opportunity to see the many freshwater crocodiles that inhabit the waterway.
Rising abruptly from the surrounding floodplain, some parts of the walls of Windjana Gorge are up to 100 metres high.
Crossing the King Leopold Range, continue along the Gibb River Road, stopping at beautiful Galvans Gorge and Manning Gorge (conditions permitting).

Day 5 Manning Gorge to El Questro
Travel through some of the most unforgiving terrain in Australia, skirting the Cockburn Range and arriving at El Questro Wilderness Park.
Spanning over a million acres, El Questro Wilderness Park is central Kimberley and is home to rugged ranges, ancient gorges and pristine waterfalls.
Set up camp near the Pentecost River and El Questro Station Township.

Day 6 El Questro
Explore some of the gargantuan Park, perhaps taking a cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a scenic helicopter flight past waterfalls and caves, or a guided 4WD fishing adventure.

Day 7 El Questro to Emma Gorge to Kununurra
Travel to the oasis of Emma Gorge Resort, where you have the opportunity to participate in a guided walk into the gorge.
There will be time to swim in the crystal- clear water at the base of the waterfall, before continuing along the Gibb River Road to the Victoria Highway.
Heading on to Kununurra, one of the youngest towns in Western Australia which is the hub of local industry for agriculture, tourism and mining in the east Kimberley.

Day 8 Kununurra
Explore the stunning views from Kellys Knob Lookout in Mirima National Park. See 300 million year old sandstone cliffs, often referred to as the 'mini Bungles'.
Visit the historic homestead of the legendary Durack family, where Mary Durack wrote the Australian classic Kings in Grass Castles, and enjoy a cruise on the impressive Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in Australia.

Day 9 Kununurra to Nitmiluk
Cross the border into the Northern Territory, travelling via Timber Creek and Victoria River, traversing large cattle stations to the former gold mining town of Katherine.
Tonight, set up camp in the tranquil surroundings of Nitmiluk National Park, home to spectacular Katherine Gorge.

Day 10 Nitmiluk to Kakadu
Experience an early morning cruise through Katherine Gorge, with the opportunity to see freshwater crocodiles sunbathing on the riverbanks and many species of birds.
Stop at beautiful Edith Falls before travelling via the gold mining town of Pine Creek into Kakadu National Park.

Day 11 Kakadu to Darwin
This morning, join a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Search for saltwater crocodiles and the amazing range of birdlife for which this region is renowned.
At Nourlangie Rock take a short walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art. Stop at the Bowali Visitor Centre, before continuing on to Darwin for an orientation tour on arrival.

Day 12 Depart Darwin
Your tour concludes today after breakfast. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight.
