Day 1 Broome to Fitzroy Crossing

Set off towards Geike Gorge, breaking en route to view the Fitzroy River.

Enjoy an afternoon Darngku Heritage Cruise in Geike Gorge, hosted by local Bunuba cultural guides. Learn about bush tucker, plant uses and animal tracking. Delight in Dreamtime stories. Be educated on cultural matters.

Keep an eye out for crocodiles and view Geological sea fossils.

In Fitzroy Crossing, you will visit the historical Crossing Inn, which is the original hotel in the Kimberley.

Day 2 Fitzroy Crossing to Halls Creek

Head towards Halls Creek, breaking en route at Palm Springs, a spring fed waterhole.

Explore around Halls Creek. Visit the abandoned Old Halls Creek gold rush town site and a local Aboriginal craft store.

Also visit the pioneer's cemetery and China Wall, an unusual limestone formation.

Overnight: Halls Creek Motel (motel room)

Day 3 Halls Creek to Bungle Bungles

This morning it's onto one of the highlights of the Kimberley, Purnululu National Park, and the famed Bungle Bungles.

At the end of this rugged road, you will be amazed at this World Heritage listed wonder.

After lunch it's time to do a couple of walks: first into Echidna Chasm to see the Livistonia Palms. Next, view the gorgeous Cathedral Gorge.

Day 4 Bungle Bungles to Kununurra

This morning, a wonderful experience awaits those who wish to participate: an optional scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles (approx $235, own expense). This is one flight you will never forget as gorges and ravines reveal themselves below.

Afterwards, travel back to Kununnurra. There is the option to travel back on a scenic flight at your own expense. This flight will further show you the Bungles, as well as the Argyle Diamond Mine, Ord River and Lake Argyle (approx $265pp).

Overnight: All Seasons Kununurra or similar (motel)

Day 5 Kununurra to Home Port

The day awaits you to explore as you please. Enjoy breakfast with your group, then perhaps wander for a while around Kununurra or add on the Ord River cruise (own expense).

A complimentary transfer to the airport is included for your onward flight.
