Discover the beautifully restored buildings and the fascinating history of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Visit the immense super-pit, the largest open-cut mining operation in Australia.
Pay tribute to the renowned Royal Flying Doctor Service with a guided tour of the RFDS Kalgoorlie Airport Operation (Mon-Fri). Drive along Hay Street past the infamous Red Light District with its unique starting stalls.
At midday, the half day tour concludes. Those on the full day tour will visit an underground mine at the Hannans North Tourist Mine, home of the awesome Australian Prospectors and Miners Hall of Fame.
Experience life underground with a guided tour, watch a gold pour and try your luck panning for gold. After a tea break, take a stroll around the interactive exhibition halls and learn about Kalgoorlies past, present and future.
Departs: Daily at 10.00am and Tuesday,Thursday & Sat (Dec-Jan)
Returns: Approx. 12.00pm or 3.30pm
