Day 1 Arrive Kununurra

Upon arrival at Kununurra airport you will be transfered to your hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore Kununurra township before getting acquainted with your fellow travellers, meeting at 6.00 pm for a drink (own expense) in the hotel bar.

Overnight: Kununurra Country Club (Motel Room)

Day 2 Kununurra to El Questro Wilderness Park

Cruise the Ord River to the massive inland sea, Lake Argyle. Visit the Ord River Irrigation Scheme. Perhaps spot Jesus birds, archer fish, rock wallabies or some of the hundreds of thousands of nocturnal fruit bats.

Experience the Gibb River Road cattle track to El Questro Station. Marvel at the stunning scenery and rugged ranges that formed the dramatic backdrop for Baz Luhrmans epic movie – Australia.

Overnight: El Questro Wilderness Park - Emma Gorge (Deluxe Cabin)

Day 3 El Questro to Home Valley Station

Walk to palm lined Zebedee Springs with its waterfalls and the bathing pools for a dip before continuing along 'the Gibb'.

Drive through the massive Cockburn Ranges and a river crossing today for Kimberley style hospitality at the Kimberley cattle station.

Overnight: Home Valley Station, Guesthouse

Day 4 Home Valley

After a hearty station breakfast, enjoy an informative talk and demonstration on horse training and horsemanship.

Laze around the pool, read a book under a tree, or choose an optional activity including fishing, bird watching or an Aboriginal Cultural talk (own expense). At the end of the day, enjoy dinner in the famous Dusty Bar & Grill.

Day 5 Home Valley Station to Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge

Prepare for the awesome scenery of gorge country. Stop at beautiful Galvans Gorge for a dip. Traverse the King Leopold Ranges to Mt Hart, where you can spot remnant rainforest or dancing brolgas, and take a swim at Barke Pool.

Top off the day with some Kimberley hospitality while watching the sunset over the King Leopold Ranges.

Overnight: Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge

Day 6 Mount Hart to Broome

Pass via the Napier Ranges to the Oscar Ranges and Tunnel Creek. Wade underground, through the sometimes deep, cool water of the creek in the tunnel.

See marine fossils high up at ancient Windjana Gorge, then return to Broome through cattle country, stopping en route at the infamous Derby Prison Boab Tree.
