Day 1 Arrive Kununurra

Make your way to Kununurra. If arriving by plane, airport transfers are provided.

Familiarise yourself with the motel and then meet your fellow travellers in the bar at 6pm.

Overnight: All Seasons Kununurra or similar (motel).

Day 2 Kununurra - El Questro Wilderness Park

This morning, join a cruise from Kununurra up the Ord River to Lake Argyle. Then visit the Ord River Irrigation Scheme plantations and Ivanhoe Crossing.

Head off down the Gibb River Road towards El Questro Wilderness Park. Spend the afternoon doing an option (arranged by the guide). Options may include a Chamberlain Gorge cruise; or for something a little more active, maybe try the hike into Emma Gorge.

Overnight: Voyages El Questro Wilderness Park, Emma Gorge (safari tent). July 13 departure will stay at El Questro Stationship Bungalows.

Day 3 El Questro - Mount Elizabeth Station

A nice early morning today with an easy walk at Zebedee Hot Springs, followed by a drive southwest past the Pentecost Ranges on the way to Mount Elizabeth Station for the night.

Day 4 Mount Elizabeth to Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge

Back onto the Gibb River Road today, stopping at Galvans Gorge for an easy walk. Perhaps take a swim.

Head towards Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge after lunch where you have time to relax or maybe take a leisurely hike to nearby Barker Pool for a swim.

Later, sip champagne and nibble on cheese as you watch the sun dip behind the King Leopold Ranges.

Day 5 Mount Hart - Broome

This morning, travel via the Napier Ranges to the fascinating Tunnel Creek. Wade through the 750m flooded tube tunnel in knee to thigh high water while hearing the story of the Aboriginal Freedom fighter, Jandamarra.

After this amazing experience, it's onto Windjana Gorge. Spot freshwater crocodiles, which are frequently seen in this area.

Stop at the Prison Boab Tree on the way back to Broome.
