DAY 1 Kununurra - “Faraway Downs” Station
• Live the romance of the Kimberley stock routes in magnificent outback Australia: experience life on a massive and seriously remote cattle station drenched in pure Kimberley character; where saddles and swags are the norm, perhaps explore a million acre Wilderness Park with brilliant canyons and thermal springs or experience a genuine working Kimberley Cattle Station.

• Head 100km west from Kununurra onto the Gibb River Road, engaging your 4WD, and onto to El Questro or Home Valley Station. These Cattle stations, with up to a millions of acres of land are your adventure playground and each contains more than its fair share of spectacular Kimberley scenery.

Choose from many levels of accommodation for the next two nights: At Home Valley Station you can ford the river at Kidman Crossing where Lady Sarah did in the movie Australia, and you can be accommodated in a lavishly appointed Grass Castle, in a guest room in the Homestead or you can really connect with nature in an Eco Tent. DAY 2 Explore “Faraway Downs” Station Area
• Experience spectacular gorge after spectacular gorge. Thrill to life on the working Cattle Station; see station cattle, brumbies, wild donkeys, bustards, frilled neck lizards, goannas, brolgas, jabirus and technicoloured parrots. At El Questro perhaps take a heli-picnic or go heli-fishing for barramundi take a plunge in the hot thermal Zebedee Springs or join one of the other organised activities available.

• Home Valley Station is a working cattle station; perhaps take the chance of a life time to experience authentic cattle mustering, horse trekking through the Kimberley Outback, boating on a magnificent wilderness river, fish in a waterhole brimming with wildlife, or to enjoy a magical sunset ride with the fabulous locations of Australia the movie as the backdrop.

DAY 3 “Faraway Downs” Station – Kununurra
• Continue your wilderness discovery of towering gorges, stunning waterfalls, rivers and waterholes brimming with wildlife. Perhaps see where mighty rivers create salt flats, rock escarpments, natural springs and billabongs. Return to Kununurra in the afternoon.
