Day 1 Exmouth to Karijini

Depart Exmouth and feel the immense isolation of the outback as you travel through large areas of outback sheep and cattle stations to the Ashburton and Beazley Rivers.

Continue through the ancient mountains of the Hamersley Ranges after lunch. View the spectacular gorges that have been carved by the waters of the Fortescue and other rivers.

Enjoy camping overnight at Auski which lies alongside Karijini National Park.

Day 2 Karijini

Embark on an adventurous morning of trekking gorges in the amazing Karijini National Park. Witness the precipitous cliffs of the Weano and Hancock gorges and the impressive waterfalls of Joffre Gorge.

Travel to Dales Gorge after lunch and experience an amazing trek through the bottom of the gorge to Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool. Notice the iron red walls of the gorge walls become deep red and purple in colour as you descend.

Return to Auski where you will camp overnight.

Day 3 Karijini to Pardoo

Experience the mining hub of Western Australia at Port Hedland today as you follow the Hamersley Ranges to the town.

Encounter the huge Iron Ore Port which dominates the landscape of Port Hedland and observe the mile long trains that transport the ore.

Travel north to Pardoo from Port Hedland. Spend the night camping at Pardoo, a working station that is located between the highway and the beach.

Day 4 Pardoo to Broome

Enjoy a morning swim at Eighty Mile Beach and collect some of the seashells that the area is renowned for.

Head north to Broome travelling along the Great Northern Highway and immerse yourself in the vastness of the Kimberley scenery.

Arrive in Broome and experience a town tour where you may have the opportunity to see pearling displays at the Historical Museum or the distinctive Broome style architecture of the corrugated iron buildings on Hamersley Street.

Walk along the pristine white sands of Cable Beach and watch the sunset over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Farewell your fellow travellers as your tour comes to a close this evening.
