DAY 1 Broome - Fitzroy Crossing
• Travel through Cattle Country to the important and historic ‘beef’ town of Derby. Go inside the huge Prison Boab Tree, perhaps visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service en route to view the mighty Fitzroy River.

DAY 2 Fitzroy Crossing - Halls Creek
• Explore the famous Geike Gorge National Park. Perhaps join the local park rangers for a cruise on the Fitzroy River through the huge gorge and spot local wildlife - including swafish, stingrays and freshwater crocodiles.
• Continue along the Great Northern Highway to Halls Creek, site of the first gold rush in Western Australia in 1885. Visit a pioneer’s cemetary, China Wall – a significant geological formation and some of the original gold mines.

• Continue through the vast Kimberley landscape to the east Kimberley hub of Kununurra, right on Lake Argyle.
