Day 1 Perth - York - Esperance

Leaving Perth head through the Darling Ranges towards the historic town of York, colonial buildings line the streets as you stop to admire the towns proud heritage and then continue through the expansive fields of the wheat belt.

Visit the famous Wave Rock and learn how this mysterious granite outcrop, sculptured by nature, along with Hippos Yawn is steeped with aborigine culture.

The tour proceeds past the 120°E meridian (WA time) towards Esperance and the Southern Oceans spectacular coastline, travel the Great Ocean Drive for a brief taste of what tomorrow has to offer before checking into your hostel accommodation.

Day 2 Explore Esperance

Prepare to be amazed this morning, visit Cape Le Grande which holds a day of wonder, adventure and unbelievable scenery, head straight for Lucky Bay, arguably one of Australias finest beaches and see the kangaroos as you stroll along the squeaky clean sa

Walk the nature trail to Thistle Cove to witness stunning panoramas and abundant wildlife, and then cool off in the pristine aquamarine waters of Hellfire Beach.

Relax after lunch and then climb Frenchman's Peak, from the oceancarved caves, the 260m summit offers sweeping views of the surrounding area.

As the day ends, visit the town lookout to view the beautiful Recherché Archipelago before feasting on an Aussie BBQ.

Day 3 Esperance - Albany

Visit the unique region of Albany with its ecosystems, first up is the Biosphere of the Fitzgerald River National Park (wildflower season only), which is internationally recognised as “the most important Mediterranean ecosystem in the world”.

  • Head for the coast, looking for Southern Right whales (winter season only) and travel the scenic route to lunch.
  • Enjoy the nature trails of Two Peoples Bay that meander throughout this sanctuary for threatened birds and animals to yet another amazing beach.

    Heading into town, visit the many attractions of Albanys spectacular Middleton Beach and King George Sound, a stunning natural harbour best viewed from Mount Clarence lookout.

    Day 4 Albany - Denmark - Pemberton

    Following the coastline of King George Sound, head for nearby Frenchman Bay to explore the wonderful Whale Museum (winter only) which is described as Australias first industry see how the early whale hunters battled with giant sharks to land their huge

    Move on to imposing natural coastline features locally known as The Gap, Natural Bridge and the famous blow holes and then travel to the town of Denmark for a short break before arriving at the stunning Greens Pool.

    Your next stop is the Valley of the Giants, which includes the elevated Tree Top Walk with views of the dense Tingle Tree canopy.

  • Journey on to Pemberton and take up the challenge to climb one of the famous Fire Tree lookouts (summer only.

    Day 5 Pemberton - Augusta - Margaret River - Busselton - Perth

    Awaken to a wonderful misty southwest morning, rise to the sights of kangaroos and emus which are abundant in the area and later on journey north west to the famous wine and surfing region of Augusta & Margaret River.

    The spectacular limestone coast winds its way to the mouth of the Margaret River, nearby the waves from the Indian Ocean wash onto pristine beaches; home of the world famous WA Masters Surf Championships.

    Journey to The Wardan Aboriginal Centre where you can learn about the early Indigenous people, the Wardandi people and hear about the amazing bushcraft skills used by the Indigenous people who thrived in the district for thousands of years.

    Enjoy wine tasting at an exclusive winery after lunch, visit Busselton Jetty, for a look at the longest piled wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and before the tour comes to an end stop over at the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery centre.
