Broome Start/Finish
Fly over Broome and Cable Beach, head north across the Dampier Peninsula and King Sound to the Horizontal Waterfalls. Circle this area in both directions allowing photo opportunities.
Next is Talbot Bay Pearl Farm and then onto the hundreds of deserted islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago, flying over the famous open-cut iron-ore mines at Koolan and Cockatoo Islands.
Land at Cape Leveque; enjoy refreshments overlooking the Indian Ocean. Take a swim in the sheltered waters of the bay, with access to beach facilities.
The route back to Broome is along the many bays and beaches of the Dampier Peninsulas west coast, including Willie Creek and the famous Cable Beach.
Departs: Daily except Sunday (until 30 Apr 2010) and Monday to Friday (1 Apr - 30 Nov 2010 and 1-30 Mar 2011) at 07.45am
Returns: Approx. 5.30pm
