DAY 1 Kununurra to Bungle Bungles

Depart Kununurra by 4WD and drive via the scenic Ragged Range which is home to the Argyle Diamond Mine. Arrive at the Aboriginal community of Turkey Creek where you can have a short stop at the roadhouse.

Head to the Bungle Bungle turn off and experience a very scenic and winding dirt road via the magnificent Osmond Range. Witness the many permanent springs and the dense vegetation that the Osmond Range contains which do not exist further south.

Enjoy lunch in Purnululu National Park at the northern gorges. Discover the narrow Echidna Gorge on an afternoon walk and be amazed by the 200 metre vertical walls. Observe the Livistona palms that fill the boulder strewn floor of Mini Palms Gorge.

Arrive at your overnight camp in Purnululu National Park and watch the sunset before sleeping underneath the stars.

DAY 2 Bungle Bungles to Kununurra

Travel to the southern end of Purnululu National Park this morning for a walk through the stunning Bee Hive area of Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge.

Take advantage of an optional helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungle Ranges and delight in close up aerial views of the magnificent Bee Hive formations.

Return to Kununurra by 4WD and immerse yourself in the vastness of the Kimberley landscape. Farewell your fellow mates as your tour comes to an end.
