• Head east through scenic Darling Ranges to historic York. Enjoy the wonderfully preserved turn of the century Victorian buildings and gain an insight into the old pioneer days. Stop at the famous Dog Cemetery, a tribute to Australian working sheep dogs.
• Lunch at Hyden, home of Wave Rock and Hippos Yawn. Join an Aboriginal cultural tour and discover special Aboriginal sacred sites and dreamtime stories of the area.
• Head to other intriguing rock formations of the area including the Humps, a camel hump-like granite rock and Mulka’s Cave, home to many ancient Aboriginal cave paintings.
• Continue through the heart of West Australia's wheatbelt to the small farming town of Babakin. View Western Australia's spectacular native wildflowers during September to November.
