Day 1 Perth - Swan Valley

• Drive the short distance to the fertile Swan Valley Wine Region, a gourmets delight.
• Fresh local produce, fine olives and oils, local cheeses, chocolates and nougats vie for tastings with beers from unique microbreweries.
• World-class wineries offer full reds or crisp white wines, unique local liqueurs and fortified wines.
• Visit Western Australia’s oldest underground wine cellar or the most modern winery;
• Enjoy lunch or dinner in fine restaurants or in casual garden settings.
• See galleries and artisans; visit historic sites or National Parks. Enjoy!

Day 2 Swan Valley – Margaret River

• Pass historic Guildford and Perth en route to Mandurah in the Peel Wine Region; perhaps spotting dolphins at play.
• Next pass Bunbury, then on to Busselton in the Geographe Wine Region, with its unique jetty and underwater observatory 2 kms out to sea.
• Visit award winning wineries, microbreweries, fudge or cheese factories.
• See an ancient cave, a lighthouse or spot whales migrating in season.
• Beef was king in the southwest before surfing and wineries; perhaps enjoy succulent Harvey beef, venison or fresh caught local fish with a world-renowned local wine for dinner.

Day 3 Explore Margaret River

• Leave the car behind!
• See the craft, glass, art and wine galleries, cafes and forest walks on your doorstep today.
• Be picked up at 11am to enjoy your small group gourmet tour of the Margaret River Wine Region;
• Visit chocolate and cheese factories and perhaps a brewery.
• Enjoy five wineries (time permitting); taste ‘champagne’ and liqueurs; Enjoy a gourmet lunch with your tour.
• Transfer back to your hotel at approx. 4.30pm.

Day 4 Margaret River - Pemberton

• Visit the Leeuwin Lighthouse; see the convergence of the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean.
• See fertile farmlands give way to tall trees en route to Pemberton, the ‘timber town’ heart of the Pemberton Wine Region.
• Fresh marron and trout are some local delicacies to tempt the palette today, along with fresh fruits in season and some excellent local wines.
• Unique lavender delicacies are offered at the local Lavender and Berry Farm.

Day 5 Pemberton – Denmark

• Travelling through the Pemberton Wine Region see giant trees with girths of up to 16m.
• Visit the Tree Top Walk 400m high in the canopy of giant Tingle trees.
• See unique coastal scenery, Greens Pool and Elephant Rock.
• Perhaps enjoy the fruits of local industries; marron farming or dairy, pork and beef production.
• Visit the local wineries or a meadery to enjoy the ancient drink -mead - made from local honey.
• Stroll the banks of the Denmark River then perhaps enjoy a meal in this vibrant country town.

Day 6 Denmark – Porongurup Ranges

• Rise early this morning in your accommodation on Mount Shadforth!
• See the mists magically rising to give an exquisite view across the distance to the waters of the Wilson Inlet.
• Take the road inland to Mount Barker with some superb wineries of the Great Southern Wine Region, including world famous Goundrey Estate.
• Enjoy the pristine beauty of the 11,000 million year old Porongurup and Stirling Ranges, set in the Stirling Range National Park.
• See wildflowers or snow topped distant peaks in season.
• Visit wineries with unique attributes; such as the Windmill Winery and restaurant with its authentic and full size windmill, lovingly hand crafted by the hospitable host family from Holland.
• Overnight: Karri Bank Country Retreat

Day 7 Porongurup Ranges - Perth

• Spend time exploring some of the most ancient lands in the world and some of the best scenery in Australia’s South West.
• Perhaps visit a wayside country café to enjoy home fare.
• Visit galleries, workshops or Plantagenet, the oldest winery in the Great Southern Wine Region, near Mount Barker before leaving for Perth in the early afternoon.

Day 8 Explore Perth

• See international exhibitions at the Art Gallery or Museum;
• See Perth from Kings Park;
