    Wonnerup House

    An Important surviving example of early farm pioneering in Western Australia.

    Wonnerup House, built by the Layman family in 1838, is set in farmlands close to a tuart tree forest near the Vasse Estuary wetlands.

    A second home was built in 1859, followed by a one teacher school across the track in 1874.
